Senior Application Engineer
Extreme DA seeks highly qualified individual to serve as AEs for its Extreme GoldTime product, a next-generation timing sign-off tool for IC design. The AE will work in tandem with sales to clearly articulate to customers how GoldTime benefits their current and planned timing closure methodologies. The AE will be responsible for a variety of pre- and post-sales activities such as managing competitive benchmarks, conducting tool evaluations, developing design flows, providing input to product specs and documentation, training and supporting customers, and technical account management.

Santa Clara, CA (company headquarters)
Southern California
Central Texas
Bangalore, India
Israel
Japan

Requirements:

	BSEE or equivalent and five+ years of experience, or MSEE or equivalent with three+ years of experience
	Expertise in PrimeTime and STA
	Must possess a thorough understanding of design methodologies with good knowledge of process issues at 90, 65, and 45 nm
	Proven knowledge of LEF/DEF, ASIC design, RTL-to-GDS methodology, physical implementation technology, Verilog, VHDL, and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Tcl.
	Expertise in HSPICE, StarRCXT, or Celtic is a plus
	Ability to share your knowledge and experience in customers' timing sign-off processes to the R&D team to help enhance GoldTime quality, features, and value
	Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work with customers and colleagues while managing multiple tasks with minimum supervision
	Ability to travel internationally

R&D Engineers - GoldTime (EE/CS)
Extreme DA is actively hiring developers. We are seeking bright, motivated C++ programmers with deep knowledge of programming algorithms and modern EDA IC flows for our GoldTime product. We are considering candidates in Santa Clara and Bangalore.

Requirements

	Significant analysis and design of large programming problems
	Expertise in PrimeTime and STA
	Good communication skills
	Ability to work independently
	Expertise in HSPICE, StarRCXT, or Celtic is a plus
	Comfortable developing in a Unix/Linux environment

We prefer candidates with knowledge or experience in:

	STA, delay calculation, extraction, SI
	Power and IR drop
	Standard cell, memory, IP characterization
	IC variation modeling
	Semiconductor process characterization

R&D Engineers - ROAD (EE/CS)
Extreme DA is actively hiring developers. We are seeking bright, motivated C++ programmers with deep knowledge of programming algorithms and modern EDA IC flows for our ROAD product. This position is based in our Bangalore office.

Requirements:

	Significant analysis and design of large programming problems
	Extensive experience with C++ and STL
	Good communication skills
	Ability to work independently
	Comfortable developing in a Unix/Linux environment

We prefer candidates with knowledge or experience in:

	Transistor-level optimization algorithms
	Standard cell, memory, Analog IP characterization
	IC variation modeling
	Semiconductor process characterization
	Familiarity with front-end design entry tools and commercial simulators including Spectre, Hspice and Eldo
	Experience with Qt, Skill, Tcl, Perl, Python and Ruby
